Vice Premier B. Atdayev reported on the modernization of carpet enterprises within the State Association "Turkmenhaly" and efforts to promote the art of carpet weaving during a Cabinet meeting in Turkmenistan. The news was reported by the online publication "TurkmenPortal."
In order to preserve unique samples of ancient carpets in the country, the production infrastructure is being modernized, and new modern enterprises are being established. Existing enterprises are strengthening their material and technical base and expanding the range of carpet products.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdymukhamedov emphasized that the preservation of ancient carpet weaving traditions and the promotion of this art worldwide are important tasks. He gave relevant instructions to the Vice Premier regarding the modernization of the "Turkmenhaly" enterprises.
