An International Tourism Conference "Key Directions and Potential of Tourism Development in Turkmenistan" is set to take place in Ashgabat on March 27-28. The conference will be attended by prominent figures such as the Secretary-General of the UN World Tourism Organization Zurab Pololikashvili and the Secretary-General of the Economic Cooperation Organization, as well as representatives from the International Organization of World Heritage Cities.
The conference will feature speeches from the Minister of Tourism of Sri Lanka and the head of the Resortology Agency of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia. The agenda includes a scientific-practical conference, business meetings, and the signing of cooperation agreements in the tourism sector. Additionally, an exhibition showcasing Turkmenistan's tourism potential will be held at the Yyldyz Hotel.
