President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, participated in the ceremony marking the launch of the second phase of the Lebap Cement Plant in the Koitendag etrap of the Lebap region. The new facility is expected to meet the growing demand for cement due to the active construction in the country, with an annual production capacity of one million tons of cement.
The construction of the new plant was carried out by specialists from the Turkmen Enjam company. The plant is equipped with modern high-performance equipment from global manufacturers, ensuring efficient production processes.
Special attention was given to environmental concerns during the construction of the plant. Powerful modern filters are utilized to clean emissions of harmful substances, and the working conditions at the plant have been optimized for comfort, with full process automation in place.
