The recently launched second phase of the Lebap cement plant has been awarded a certificate of compliance with high international standards by Thyssenkrupp Polysius GmbH. The new plant has a production capacity of one million tons of cement per year and meets German industrial standards - DIN, cement industry standards, International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards, and ISO standards.
The international document was presented during a ceremony attended by Thyssenkrupp Polysius GmbH's chief inspector for equipment installation, Mate Resetar, and Turkmenistan's Minister of Industry and Construction, Takhirberdi Chariberdievich.
