During a meeting of the Turkmenistan Government, President Serdar Berdymukhamedov approved the proposal by Vice Premier Kh. Geldimyradov to launch a "Remote Banking" system for individuals.
This new system will allow citizens to conduct a wide range of non-cash transactions promptly. In line with the "President of Turkmenistan's Program for Socio-Economic Development for 2019–2025" and the "State Program for the Development of Turkmenistan's Digital Economy for 2021–2025," digital systems are actively being implemented in various sectors of the national economy. This includes expanding the range of electronic services and payment systems, as well as enhancing remote banking services.
