From April 15 to 19, the Y. Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas hosted the II International Olympiad in Informatics, with participants from 18 countries. The competition included programming tasks and the development of comprehensive software in the field of cybersecurity. Foreign guests were treated to a tour of the historic city of Nisa, where they explored archaeological sites and historical heritage.
Students from Turkmenistan excelled in the intellectual contest, winning a total of 43 medals, including 10 gold. The Russian team secured the second spot with 17 medals, while the Chinese team claimed the third spot with 10 awards.
