The Uzbekistan U-18 national ice hockey team claimed victory over the Thailand U-18 team in the final of the U-18 Asia and Oceania Cup, becoming the tournament champions, as reported by the National Olympic Committee's press service. The match took place on April 30 at the Humo Arena in Tashkent and ended with a score of 2:1.
Among the 10 participating teams, the Uzbekistan U-18 team, defending champions, successfully defended their title.
Jasurbek Rustamkhonov was recognized as the best forward of the championship.
