Athletes from Kyrgyzstan have won 16 gold medals at the Asian Armwrestling Championship in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This was announced by the Deputy Chairman of the Council for the Affairs of Persons with Disabilities, Tolkunbek Isakov, during a press conference.
A total of 17 athletes from Kyrgyzstan participated in the championship, achieving great success with 16 gold medals.
"Following the Asian Championship, a team will be formed to participate in the World Championship, which will take place in August in Moldova," said Tolkunbek Isakov.
In the overall team standings, the Kyrgyzstan team secured the second-place position.
It is worth noting that the tournament saw participation from over 600 athletes from nine countries.
