Aset Turyssov has been appointed as the Vice Minister of Finance, with a release from his previous position, according to a statement from the government's press service. Born on November 10, 1987, in Moscow, Aset Turyssov is a graduate of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Narxoz University.
Throughout the years, he has held various positions including engineer-system administrator at Kazakhtelecom, managing director of the Population Service Center, managing director of Kazpost, and chairman of the board of National Information Technologies.
Prior to this appointment, he served as the Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry. Earlier reports mentioned the temporary appointment of Laura Mersalimova as Vice Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan on March 12, 2024.
