The Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek, announced that all Kazakhstani students studying in Moscow under state programs are safe and unharmed following the terrorist attack at "Crocus City Hall".

According to Nurbek, 32 Kazakhstani students are currently studying in the Russian Federation under the "Bolashak" and "500 Scholars" programs, with 24 scholarship recipients located in Moscow. None of the scholars were harmed, and all have been in contact and are safe.

Earlier reports from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan stated that there were no Kazakhstani citizens among the casualties or injured in the attack at "Crocus City Hall".

President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, condemned the terrorist act in Moscow, expressing solidarity with President Vladimir Putin and offering assistance from Kazakhstan's law enforcement agencies to their Russian counterparts if needed. Tokayev also extended his condolences for the numerous victims of the attack.

On March 22nd, individuals in camouflage attire stormed into the "Crocus City Hall", with at least three of them opening fire with automatic weapons just minutes before the rock band "Picnic" was set to perform.
