The head of state welcomed the decision of the Cyprus government to open an embassy in Astana, marking a new chapter in diplomatic relations. Both sides discussed prospects for cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, as well as international agendas involving the UN and EU.
Kazakhstan and Cyprus see great potential for expanding collaboration, as they have built a strong political dialogue and investment cooperation over 32 years of diplomatic relations. Constantinos Kombos expressed gratitude for the hospitality and emphasized the vast opportunities for enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
