President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, extended his congratulations to Prabowo Subianto Djojohadikusumo on his victory in the presidential elections of the Republic of Indonesia on March 25th.
In a telegram, President Tokayev expressed his confidence that under Prabowo's wise leadership, Indonesia will achieve new successes in its economic and social development, as well as strengthen its role on the international stage. Kazakhstan and Indonesia share warm relations based on mutual trust and common interests, with a readiness to jointly explore opportunities for multifaceted cooperation in the interest of both countries.
The head of state wished the Indonesian leader success in all his endeavors and the people of Indonesia continued progress and prosperity.
It was previously reported that the President of Kazakhstan met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus, Konstantinos Korneliou. During the meeting, the President affirmed Kazakhstan's commitment to developing partnership relations with Cyprus. Over the 32 years of diplomatic relations between Astana and Nicosia, a strong political dialogue has been established, along with investment cooperation.
