The Migration Service Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan reported that 119 illegal migrant workers and five cases of foreigners providing intimate services were identified in the capital city in a single day.

Additionally, the committee revealed that during an operation at a waste processing plant, 37 citizens of Uzbekistan were found to be engaged in illegal labor activities.

Furthermore, inspections were conducted at apartments, hostels, dormitories, construction sites, industrial zones, and markets. Committee officials urged compliance with the law and warned of criminal liability for employers repeatedly hiring foreigners without the necessary permits.

Previously, it was reported that in Almaty, over 100 foreigners were detained in just two days. Fifty of them, lacking identity documents, were placed in a reception and distribution center. Thirteen foreigners have been held administratively liable, while investigations are ongoing for 39 other foreign nationals.
