Today, on April 4, 2024, it was announced that Nurlan Kumataev has stepped down from his position as the akim of Konaev, which he has held since May 25, 2020.
The information was confirmed by the press secretary of the akim of the Almaty region, Zhanna Arynbekova.
"Nurlan Kumataev... left his post voluntarily on March 28 of this year," she told a correspondent.
Nurlan Kumataev was born on June 3, 1970, in the village of Chernovodsk in the Sairam district of the South Kazakhstan region (now the Turkestan region). In 1991, he graduated from the Almaty State Medical Institute majoring in law and economics.
He was appointed as the akim of Konaev on May 25, 2020.
