in Politics / Kazakhstan - by

A new political party, Yntymaq, may soon emerge in Kazakhstan, as confirmed by the Ministry of Justice on March 6, 2024. Although not yet registered, a notification of its intention to establish the republican political party has been submitted to the ministry.

The notification was received on Monday, March 4, by the Ministry of Justice regarding the creation of the Yntymaq political party. According to the Ministry's information, the organizing committee must hold a founding congress within three months of receiving confirmation.

One of the initiators behind the creation of the Yntymaq political party is Meiram Kazhyken, who previously ran as a presidential candidate in Kazakhstan in October 2022. Currently, Kazakhstan officially recognizes seven political parties, including Amanat, the Democratic Party of Kazakhstan "Ak Zhol," the People's Party of Kazakhstan, the People's Democratic Patriotic Party "Auyl," the All-National Social Democratic Party, Respublica Party, and the Green Party "Baytak."
