Timur Karagoyshin Released from Vice Minister Position in Kazakhstan

On April 9th, Timur Karagoyshin was relieved of his duties as the Vice Minister of Industry and Construction. He had held this position since October 2023.

According to the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Karagoyshin was released from his position due to reaching the retirement age. Born on April 9, 1961, in the West Kazakhstan region, he graduated from the Almaty Architectural and Construction Institute in 1985 and later from the University of Construction Technology, Assessment, and Quality Management in Almaty in 2004.

Karagoyshin began his career at a slaughterhouse and over the years worked in various roles, including as the deputy akim of the city of Uralsk, director of a branch of AO "NC "KTZ" in charge of design and construction, director of the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control and Licensing in the Akmola region, CEO of the State Expertise Agency, and Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan.

In related news, it was announced that President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev had relieved Kanat Seydghapbarov from his position as Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of Kazakhstan. Seydghapbarov had been in this role since April 14, 2022.
