Kasym-Jomart Tokayev Appoints New Deputies to Kazakhstan's Assembly of People

Kazakhstan's President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev appointed two new deputy heads of the Assembly of People on April 24. The appointments of Bularov Lugmar Kharkievich and Shin Yuri Germanovich were announced by Akorda.

Lugmar Bularov is known for being a leader of the Dungan ethnic group and was brought into the National Kurultai in January 2024. Yuri Shin, on the other hand, is the head of the Association of Koreans in Kazakhstan and a member of the Almaty City Maslikhat of the VII convocation.

They have replaced Akbarzhon Ismailov and Aurika Dyak in their positions as deputy heads of the Assembly of People, from which the President relieved them of their duties.
