President Tokayev Advances Judicial Reforms with IT and AI Integration

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the Chairman of the Supreme Court, Aslambek Mergaliev. The head of state listened to a report on ensuring fair judicial proceedings in the country, as well as the progress in implementing previous instructions on reforming the judicial system.

In the message from Akorda for April 30, 2024, it was mentioned that Aslambek Mergaliev discussed the stages of introducing IT services with elements of artificial intelligence and robotics into judicial proceedings to increase transparency in the courts' activities and access to justice.

"The head of state paid special attention to the quality of the ongoing judicial system reforms and ensuring legality in handling cases at all levels," the publication stated.

He also emphasized the importance of further integrating information technologies into the courts' work.

Today, on April 30, the president had a busy schedule. He has already held several meetings and signed a directive. According to it, Arken Khamitovich Utenov has been relieved of his position as Deputy Chairman of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.
