Today, on May 3, 2024, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Estonia, Altai Kulgіnov, presented his credentials to the President of Estonia, Alar Karis. This information was shared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, both sides acknowledged the friendly nature of the relationship between Kazakhstan and Estonia. They emphasized the importance of maintaining a consistent course aimed at comprehensive strengthening of bilateral cooperation and deepening the interaction between the two countries.
It was also noted that there is significant potential for effective cooperation in bilateral trade and economic relations, particularly in the areas of digitalization, transportation, and logistics.
In conclusion, President Karis congratulated Ambassador Kulgіnov on assuming his official position and wished him great success in further strengthening the Kazakh-Estonian relations.

On March 27, 2024, it was announced that the former Mayor of Astana, Altai Kulgіnov, had received a new position. He was appointed as the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Estonia. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of state. Kulgіnov held the position of Mayor of the capital from June 2019 to December 2022. From December 2022 to June 2023, he served as the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
