Acting Minister of Energy Signs Order Restricting LPG Transport in Kazakhstan

The Acting Minister of Energy has signed an order dated May 2, 2024, regarding certain issues related to the transportation of liquefied petroleum gas.

The order will come into effect on May 14, 2024. This restriction is being implemented to ensure the supply of liquefied petroleum gas to the domestic market of Kazakhstan.

Currently, gas transportation is limited in accordance with the order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 13, 2023.

It was previously reported that the export of gasoline, diesel fuel, and certain petroleum products from Kazakhstan by road transport has been banned for six months.
