Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan Presidents Sign Multiple Agreements in Bilateral Talks

The Akorda has published a list of documents signed following the negotiations between the presidents of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. The first meeting of the High Interstate Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Azerbaijan resulted in several agreements being signed.

These include agreements on mutual recognition of professional diplomas of maritime crew members, cooperation in the field of education, strategic partnerships between various ministries and companies, as well as plans for cultural cooperation and development projects. The agreements aim to strengthen ties and collaboration between the two countries in various sectors.

Earlier, it was reported that Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Azerbaijan on a state visit. He was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, Yagub Eyyubov, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Samir Sharifov.

Subsequently, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the residence of the Azerbaijani President, known as "Zagulba," where an official meeting ceremony took place. The presidents of both countries discussed joint projects during the visit.

President Aliyev expressed gratitude to Tokayev for his assistance in the reconstruction of Karabakh. A briefing for the media representatives was also held by Tokayev and Aliyev to further discuss the outcomes of their talks and agreements.

The signed documents and the fruitful discussions between the two leaders mark a significant step towards enhancing cooperation and strengthening the bilateral relationship between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan across various sectors.
