Serik Tulenbergenov Appointed Vice Minister of Emergency Situations in Kazakhstan

On March 12, 2024, Serik Tulenbergenov was appointed as the Vice Minister of Emergency Situations. The announcement was made by the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the government resolution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Serik Tulenbergenov was appointed as the Vice Minister of Emergency Situations. Tulenbergenov, born in 1974, graduated from the East Kazakhstan State University with a degree in Economics and the Kazakhstan-American Free University with a degree in Law.

His professional journey started as an accountant at ARZ LLP from May 3, 1995, to November 27, 1996. Over the years, he has held various positions such as a controller-auditor of state enterprises at the Committee of Financial Control of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, director and general director of various LLPs, chief investment attraction specialist at the Entrepreneurship and Industry Department of the East Kazakhstan Region, deputy akim of Ridder city, and deputy akim of the Aktobe region.

On February 20, Mereke Pshembaeva was relieved of the position of Vice Minister of Emergency Situations. Serik Tulenbergenov now steps into this role with a wealth of experience in different sectors, poised to contribute effectively to handling emergency situations in Kazakhstan.
