Eldar Kazganbaev Resigns as Vice Minister of Finance in Kazakhstan

Eldar Kazganbaev, who has held the position of Vice Minister of Finance since June 2022, has announced his resignation.

The news of his resignation came today, on March 14, 2024, through his social media accounts. In a post on his Facebook page, Kazganbaev congratulated everyone on the holiday of Kөrіsu kuni and informed about his decision to step down from his role as Vice Minister of Finance.

He expressed gratitude to all his colleagues and partners for the lessons learned and work accomplished during his tenure. Kazganbaev highlighted the implementation of major national-scale information systems in tax administration, public budgeting, centralization of accounting, and customs administration.

Born on July 22, 1979, in Almaty, Eldar Kazganbaev graduated from Abai Kazakh National University with a degree in Finance and Credit. He also completed a master's program in Management at the Financial Academy, obtaining a degree in Economics and Business.

Appointed as Vice Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan in June 2022, Kazganbaev has contributed significantly to various financial and administrative reforms during his term.
