Thousands of Mothers to Receive Social Payments in Astana for International Women's Day

Around 34,000 mothers with multiple children in Astana will receive a one-time social payment in honor of International Women's Day on March 8th. The city administration announced that women will be granted a one-time social assistance payment of 2.5 times the Monthly Calculation Index (9230 tenge).

The payments will be allocated to families with multiple children, including those who are economically disadvantaged, registered, and permanently residing in Astana based on the lists of the Social Payments Center of the non-profit joint-stock company "Government Corporation" for citizens.

On March 1, 2024, it was announced that 21,861 women from socially vulnerable groups in the Karaganda region will also receive a one-time payment for International Women's Day. The specific amounts will vary in different cities and districts, depending on the budget capacities.
