Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sets Consular Fees in Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has approved the consular fee rates in Kazakhstan. According to the Tax Code, the consular fee is a payment to the budget collected by diplomatic missions and consular offices of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan from foreigners, stateless persons, foreign legal entities non-residents, citizens, and legal entities of Kazakhstan for consular actions and issuance of legally significant documents.

As per the order, the following rates will be charged for processing applications of citizens and legal entities of Kazakhstan, as well as foreigners and stateless persons, foreign legal entities on issuing visas and sending instructions to foreign institutions of Kazakhstan on visa issuance (visa support):

- Single entry-exit – 20% of the Monthly Calculation Index (738.4 tenge in 2024);

- Double or multiple entry-exit – 50% of the Monthly Calculation Index (1,846 tenge in 2024).

For document legalization – 50% of the Monthly Calculation Index per document (1,846 tenge in 2024).
