Furthermore, Tokayev highlighted ongoing efforts to write a new academic history of Kazakhstan in seven volumes, involving over 250 scholars, with a dedicated volume to the period of the Golden Horde. He also mentioned Kazakhstan's recent membership in UNESCO's World Heritage Committee and the initiatives to protect unique natural and historical sites in the country.
The President called for the reinforcement of national identity, urging a focus on traditional Kazakh values and the legacy of historical figures like Khoja Ahmed Yassawi. Tokayev addressed the need to combat societal vices and emphasized key values defining the nation's image, such as independence, unity, justice, and innovation.
During the Kurultai, various speakers discussed pressing societal issues and proposed solutions. Tokayev assured that all ideas and initiatives presented would be carefully considered, with concrete actions to follow. He proposed holding the fourth National Kurultai in Kokshetau next year.
