Kazakh figure skater Mikhail Shaidorov, who placed 16th in the short program at the World Figure Skating Championships in Montreal, will be the eleventh to perform in the free skate. Shaidorov scored 80.02 points, currently holding the 16th position. The top 24 skaters from the short program advance to the free skate.
Shaidorov expressed his determination for the upcoming performance, stating, "Today was a very tough day because I get very nervous, but now it's the World Championships, and I will do my best in the free skate."
The current leaders of the 2024 World Championships in the battle for the title of the strongest are:
- Shoma Uno (Japan) – 107.72
- Yuma Kagiyama (Japan) – 106.35
- Ilia Malinin (USA) – 105.97
The free skate competition will take place on the night of March 24 in Montreal, Canada. Earlier, Mikhail Shaidorov won the "gold" at a tournament in the Netherlands.
