Turkmen athletes won two silver medals at a tennis tournament in the under-14 age category in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, under the auspices of the Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan. The news was reported by the online publication "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
Emirhan Rustamov, an 8th-grade student at Secondary School No. 12 in Ashgabat, and Nyazli Khudaikulieva, a 5th-grade student at Secondary School No. 87 in Ashgabat, emerged as the recipients of the tournament's silver medals.
Emirhan secured his award in the singles category, while Nyazli Khudaikulieva, in partnership with Uzbek athlete Milana Zakharova, claimed the silver medal in the doubles category.
Additionally, Turkmen tennis players were also recognized at the open junior under-14 championship in Dushanbe. Emirhan clinched two silver medals, and Nyazli earned one silver medal in the competition.
