Kazakhstani athletes have achieved success at the Judo Grand Slam tournament in Tbilisi, Georgia, bringing home two medals. Galia Tynbayeva won the bronze medal in the women's under 48kg category by emerging victorious in the battle for third place against Spain's Mireia Comas.
In another impressive feat, Nurkanat Serikbayev claimed the top spot in the men's under 60kg category. Serikbayev secured victory in the decisive match against Yam Vachak from Israel.
This recent triumph adds to Kazakhstan's growing list of achievements in the sports arena. Prior to this, four Kazakhstani boxers had also clinched victories at the Shotsikas-2024 tournament in Lithuania. The success of Kazakh athletes on the international stage continues to showcase their talent and dedication to their respective sports.
