Danilina, paired with the seasoned Chinese player Shuai Zhang, were defeated by the duo of Yifan Xu (China) and Laura Siegemund (Germany) with a score of 6:7, 3:6.
The match lasted for 1 hour and 32 minutes, with both pairs serving one ace and committing two double faults each.
