The men's sabre fencing team of Kazakhstan has secured an Olympic license following the World Cup stage in Tbilisi, Georgia. The Kazakh athletes obtained the license due to South Korea's defeat by the Czech Republic in the round of 16, according to the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan.

With a 26-point lead in the rankings over their main competitor, Kazakhstan has now become out of reach for South Korea. Kazakhstan has climbed to the top spot in Asia's rankings, excluding Japan, which has already secured a direct quota by making it to the top four in the list.

Additionally, Kazakh athletes clinched two medals at the Grand Slam judo tournament in Tbilisi. This achievement highlights Kazakhstan's growing success in the world of sports, setting the stage for a promising Olympic campaign in the near future.
