The draw for the ATP-1000 tournament in Indian Wells (USA) has taken place, with matches scheduled from March 6 to 17. The opponents for Kazakh tennis players in the main draw of the "Masters" have been announced.
Kazakhstan's top player, Alexander Bublik (ATP No. 20), will start his campaign in the tournament from the second round, where he will face a qualifier or Australian player Jordan Thompson (ATP No. 33).
Another Kazakh representative, Alexander Shevchenko (ATP No. 51), will kick off his journey from the first round with a match against German player Dominik Koepfer (ATP No. 49). The winner of this match will then face Francisco Cerundolo (ATP No. 22) from Argentina in the following round.
Previously, Beibit Zhukayev was unable to qualify for the Indian Wells Masters tournament.
