The Kazakhstan women's ice hockey team has announced its roster for the upcoming World Championship in Division IIA. According to the press service of the Kazakhstan Ice Hockey Federation, the team will compete against Belgium, Spain, Iceland, and Mexico for a spot in the first division.
A preparatory training camp is scheduled to take place from March 27th to April 5th in Canillo, Andorra, at an altitude of 2000 meters, the competition venue. The final roster includes 22 players, with 20 field players and two goalkeepers. Among the goalkeepers are Polina Govtva from the "Torpedo" team in Ust-Kamenogorsk and Arina Shchekolova from the capital team "Tomiris."
