Kazakh sportswoman Aynur Abdykalikova secured the fifth spot by lifting a total of 160 kg in two exercises: 72 kg in snatch and 88 kg in clean and jerk. According to the Telegram channel SPORTARENA.KZ, there were no complaints about her performance. She followed the instructions of the coaching staff and achieved a commendable fifth place.

In the same competition, Indonesian lifter Windi Kantika Aisah excelled in the women's 49 kg category, lifting a total of 184 kg (84+100) despite only completing three out of six attempts. She was followed by Guinea's Lua Dika Tua with 171 kg (75+96) and Ireland's Tham Gwee with 166 kg (70+96).

The current World Cup in Phuket serves as the final chance for weightlifters to improve their rankings in the IWF and potentially qualify for the Paris Olympics. Unfortunately, Abdykalikova will not have the opportunity to compete for a spot in the Olympics.

On the same day, Aybota Ertaykyzy won silver and bronze medals at the Grand Prix stage of rhythmic gymnastics.
