Kazakhstan Women's Boxing Team Welcomes New Head Coach Eldos Saidalin

The Kazakhstan Women's Boxing Team has appointed Eldos Saidalin as their new head coach, as announced by the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation (KBF) on April 1, 2024. Saidalin succeeds Shamily Safiullin, who had been leading the team since September 2021.

Eldos Saidalin is a highly qualified coach in Kazakhstan, holding the title of Master of Sports in Boxing and being recognized as an honored coach in the country. With 16 years of experience in the field, Saidalin has been coaching the Kazakhstan Youth Women's Boxing Team since 2020.

During his tenure, the young female boxers under Saidalin's guidance have achieved remarkable success, earning multiple medals at prestigious competitions like the World Youth Boxing Championships. In 2021, they secured two silver and three bronze medals, followed by an impressive performance in 2022 with two gold, two silver, and three bronze medals. The team continued its success in 2023 at the Asian Youth and Junior Boxing Championships in Astana and the World Junior Championships in Armenia.

In addition, Kazakhstan is set to host a significant boxing tournament in its capital from April 8 to 10, 2024, providing Kazakh boxers with an opportunity to pursue their Olympic aspirations. The event is expected to showcase the talent and determination of boxers, promising an exciting competition.
