Julia Putintseva Climbs 16 Spots in WTA Rankings, Elena Rybakina Holds 4th Place

The Women's Tennis Association (WTA) has released its updated rankings, with Kazakhstan's top player Elena Rybakina maintaining her fourth position. Julia Putintseva has improved her ranking by an impressive 16 spots, now sitting at 52nd place. Miami champion Danielle Collins made a significant leap in the rankings, moving from 53rd to 22nd place after defeating Elena Rybakina in the final.

In the latest WTA rankings as of April 1st (women's singles), the top five positions are held by Iga Swiatek from Poland, Aryna Sabalenka from Belarus, Coco Gauff from the USA, Elena Rybakina from Kazakhstan, and Jessica Pegula from the USA. Maria Sakkari from Greece moved up two spots to 7th place.

Among other Kazakhstani players in the rankings, Zhibek Kulambaeva climbed 31 spots to 464th place, Aruzhan Sagandykova improved by 7 places to 799th, and Gozal Ainitdinova dropped 6 spots to 857th.

The Professional Tennis Players Association (ATP) had previously published an updated version of the world rankings.
