Kazakh judoka Zhukamyrza Shukurbekov excelled at the Grand Prix-2024 international tournament in Turkey in the J2 category of pair judo. He emerged victorious in the weight category of over 90 kg.
After two days of competition on the tatami in Antalya, Kazakh judokas achieved a total of 4 medals. Shukurbekov won the gold, Zarina Raifova secured the silver, while Ergali Shamey and Dayana Fedosova each earned a bronze.
The Kazakh delegation, consisting of 17 judo pairs (10 men and 7 women), traveled to Turkey for the tournament.
