Kazakhstani athlete Anastassiya Gorodko emerged victorious at the Junior Freestyle Moguls World Championship in Cervinia, Italy, on April 5th. Representing the East Kazakhstan Region, Gorodko showcased exceptional performance right from the start, excelling in the qualification, final, and super final rounds.
The second place was secured by Japan's Marin Ito, followed by Yuma Taguchi from Japan, completing the top three positions. Gorodko will strive for a golden double on April 6th as she competes in the parallel moguls event. Two years ago, she clinched her first gold medal at the World Championships in the same discipline.
In a previous event, Kazakhstani gymnast Aibota Ertaykizi also shined by earning silver and bronze medals at the Grand Prix stage of artistic gymnastics. Kazakhstan continues to make its mark on the global sports stage, with talented athletes like Gorodko and Ertaykizi showcasing their skills and determination to succeed.
