Petrovich's performance garnered special attention from fans as he excelled with lifts of 167kg in snatch and 196kg in clean and jerk, totaling 363kg. This achievement matched his best result from the previous year.
Cuban lifter Olfides Saes secured second place in the group with lifts of 160kg and 200kg, followed by Kyrgyz athlete Emily Moldodosov in third place with lifts of 160kg and 187kg.
Sergey's coach emphasized his dedication and success in winning the group, noting upcoming competition from South Korea and Iran in the same weight category on April 6th.
In a parallel success, Kazakh athlete Anastasiya Gorodko clinched the title at the Junior Freestyle Mogul World Championship in Italy on the same day.
