Kazakh gymnast Erika Zhaіlaouova secured the third-place spot at an international artistic gymnastics tournament in Bulgaria. The gold medal was claimed by Boriana Kalain with 134.90 points, followed by Elvira Krasnobayeva with 132.35 points, while Erika Zhaіlaouova earned 125.15 points. Another Kazakh gymnast, Aiyim Meyrzhanova, took the fourth spot with 124.25 points.
Erika Zhaіlaouova, the daughter of renowned hockey player Talgat Zhaіlaouov, had previously clinched the third position in the team standings in Hangzhou last year. In 2023, she was ranked 19th, falling short of reaching the final stage of the qualifying round for the World Championship license in Valencia.
