The Committee for Physical Culture and Sports has proposed amendments to the List of Priority Sports. The proposal includes adding 3x3 basketball to Group B and adding shooting and breaking to Group C. However, shooting at moving targets will be removed from Group C due to the inclusion of shooting in the list.
Breaking is being included based on a letter from the Association of Dance Sport Federations of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 26, 2023, and in accordance with the protocol of the republican commission for ranking sports in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
It is important to note that breaking is part of the Olympic program, which justifies its inclusion in the list of priority sports.
