In Morelos, Mexico, the ATP Challenger tournament is currently underway. Kazakh tennis player Beybit Zhukayev (ATP No. 192) recently competed in the quarterfinals of the singles event.
During the match for a spot in the semifinals, Zhukayev faced Australian player Adam Walton (ATP No. 135) and was defeated with a score of 6:7, 7:6, 4:6 after a nearly three-hour match. Zhukayev served 24 aces, had seven double faults, and was unable to convert any of the three break points.
Additionally, prior to the singles match, Beybit Zhukayev was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the doubles event.
