The ATP-250 tournament in Lyon, France, scheduled for May 19-25 on clay courts, has released its player lineup. Kazakhstan's top male singles player, Alexander Bublik, has confirmed his participation in the competition.
Among the players expected to compete in France are:
- Hugo Humbert (ranked 14th)
- Alexander Bublik (ranked 18th)
- Frances Tiafoe (ranked 21st)
- Defending champion Arthur Fis (ranked 32nd)
- Felix Auger-Aliassime (ranked 27th)
- Gael Monfils (ranked 40th)
This week, Kazakhstan's men's team leader Bublik will also take part in the "Masters" series tournament in Spain. He will kick off his campaign in Madrid from the second round, facing either German Dominic Koepfer (ATP No. 54) or Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena (ATP No. 68).
Earlier, experienced Kazakh tennis player Mikhail Kukushkin failed to qualify for the Madrid "Masters."
