Ranked at No. 184 in the ATP rankings, Evseev managed to defeat Celikbilek, who is ranked at No. 401, with a score of 3:6, 6:1, 6:4. The match lasted for 1 hour and 30 minutes, during which Evseev showcased five aces, three double faults, and successfully converted six out of 10 break points.
In the next round, Evseev is set to face off against Australian player Philip Sekulic, who is ranked at No. 262 in the ATP rankings. Additionally, Evseev will also be participating in the doubles category of the Challenger tournament in China.
