Kazakh Athletes to Compete in Freestyle Skiing World Cup

Thirteen Kazakh athletes are set to represent the country at the Freestyle Moguls and Freestyle Acrobatics World Cup from March 8 to 10 at the "Shymbulak" ski base.

The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan has finalized the rosters for the country's Freestyle Moguls and Freestyle Acrobatics teams. The Kazakh Freestyle Moguls team includes Yulia Galysheva, Ayaulym Amrenova, Anastasiya Gorodko, Yulia Feklistova, Viktoriya Kuznetsova, and Anastasiya Larionova. The men's lineup for this discipline consists of Pavel Kolmakov, Anton Bondarev, Fedor Bugakov, Maksim Emelyanov, Denis Rastruba, Semen Rusakov, and Ilnar Ibragimov.

"The training camp at 'Shymbulak' went well. We hope for a strong performance," said Elena Kruglykhina, the head coach of the Kazakh Freestyle Moguls team.

Furthermore, leader of the team Yulia Galysheva, who underwent knee surgery last year, is ready for the upcoming competitions. Galysheva urged fans to support the team, enjoy the competition atmosphere, and witness the moguls stars live.

In the Freestyle Acrobatics team, the following athletes have been selected: Zhibek Arapbayeva, Ardana Makhanova, Adelina Umurzakova, Akzhol Zamanbekov, Sherzod Khashirbaev, Roman Ivanov, Dinmukhamed Raiymkulov, Ilya Golendov, and Ulanbakir Omirzakov.

Kazakh athletes also brought home medals from the World Cup in Para Powerlifting, held from February 28 to March 6 in Dubai.
