Four Kazakh equestrian masters were awarded silver medals at the stage of the World Cup in show jumping held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

In the "Nations Cup" program (the team route at the World Cup stage), the Kazakhstani team consisting of Ksenia Batalova, Yerzhan Magzayev, Yasmin Ibragimova, and Shyngys Malikzharda secured the second place. The competition was won by the team from Uzbekistan, with riders from Kyrgyzstan completing the top three, according to the press service of MTS RK.

During the tournament, individual competitions took place, where our Shyngys Malikzharda won a bronze medal in overcoming obstacles at a height of 120 cm. Our compatriot competed on a horse named U-Core De La Vile.

Show jumping is an equestrian competition where riders navigate a course of obstacles in a specific order, each with its own difficulties and heights. The competitions take place on a show jumping field and are the most visually appealing form of equestrian sport.

Successful performance in show jumping tournaments requires extensive and rigorous training for both the athlete and the horse. The rider must possess courage and determination, precise calculation, high skill in horse management, and good overall physical fitness. Horses need great strength, a powerful approach to the barrier and take-off, high coordination of movements, the ability to maintain balance during flight over the obstacle and upon landing, as well as flexibility and agility in movements.

Earlier, representatives of the Kazakhstani team were awarded at stages of the World Cup in three sports. In addition to our show jumping team, archers first delighted with a historic "bronze" in Shanghai, China. Then, Kazakhstani pair shooters added to their prize collection in Changwon, South Korea.
