On April 27 and 28, the regular matches of the Kazakhstan Premier League teams took place, presenting a series of interesting results. In particular, Zhetysu from Taldykorgan managed to defeat the tournament's main favorite Aktobe with a score of 2:1.

The team under the guidance of Kairat Nurdauletov did not allow themselves to be defeated on their home turf, scoring two goals against the goalkeeper of the Kazakhstan national team and Aktobe, Igor Shatsky.

The authors of these winning goals were Anton Shramchenko and Askhat Baltabekov. The guests saw one goal from Croatian legionnaire Mateo Barach.

Meanwhile, the reigning champion of Kazakhstan, Ordabasy, dropped points in Semey, playing a draw with Elimay – 1:1.

The first victory of the season was secured by Kyzylorda's Kaisar, who defeated Almaty's Kairat at home with a score of 1:0.

The Cup holder, Kostanay's Tobol, could not secure the planned three points, playing a draw with Zhenis – 1:1.

Kyzylzhar unexpectedly lost to Atyrau with a score of 0:2 in their away game.

The only team among the favorites that successfully navigated the sixth round was Astana. The capital club confidently defeated Turan from the Turkestan region with a score of 2:0.

After the recent games, the QFL-2024 standings revealed an interesting development. Despite their defeat in Taldykorgan, Aktobe remained at the top of the championship's best clubs. However, two more teams – Astana and Zhetysu – have gathered an equal number of points (10) with the team from West Kazakhstan. They are placed second and third, respectively.

In the top 5 list of the strongest teams in the country are Ordabasy and Tobol, each with nine points. Following them are Kyzylzhar, Elimay, and Kairat (with eight points each).
