Kazakh boxer Bagzhan Otynbay has reached the final of the Asian Boxing Championship U-22.
According to sportarena.kz, the semifinal matches of the Asian Youth Boxing Championship are taking place in Astana.
The fight ended with Otynbay winning by technical knockout in the second round.
It was previously announced by the Kazakh Boxing Federation the amount of prize money for the medals at the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris. The Kazakh champion of the Summer Games could receive $220,000, with an additional guaranteed amount of $250,000 from the state.
