In Albania, a Tennis Europe tournament of the third category for players under 16 took place recently. The duo of Linara Bulesheva and Medina Otepbergen emerged victorious in the doubles category.
In the final, the Kazakhstani pair defeated the Italian duo of Matilda Iezza / Silvia Maffi with a score of 6:2, 4:6, 10:8. In the singles category, Linara Bulesheva, daughter of former Kazakhstan national football team player Alibek Buleshev, reached the final but was bested by the sixth seed of the tournament, Turkish player Serre Hasanbasoglu, with a score of 3:6, 3:6.
Mahanov Claims Doubles Title in Montenegro
Meanwhile, in Montenegro, a Tennis Europe tournament of the second category for under-14 players concluded. Ahmadi Mahanov became the champion in the doubles category. The Kazakh player, paired with Russian player Alexey Ilyin, defeated the Serbian duo of Minja Zhivkovich / Stefan Moiseev with a score of 6:4, 6:2.
