Clay Court ATP-1000 Draw Revealed: Bublik and Shevchenko's Opponents Unveiled

The draw for the clay court ATP-1000 tournament in Rome, Italy, scheduled to take place from May 6 to May 19, has been announced. Kazakhstani tennis players Alexander Bublik and Alexander Shevchenko have learned the names of their first opponents.

The leader of the Kazakhstani men's national team, Alexander Bublik (ATP No. 17), will begin his journey in Rome from the second round, where he will face either Nuno Borges (ATP No. 53) or a player who will advance through the qualifiers.

On the other hand, the second seed of Kazakhstan, Alexander Shevchenko (ATP No. 60), will play against Fabian Marozsan (ATP No. 36, Hungary) in the opening round. If Shevchenko secures a victory in the first game, he will meet Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov (ATP No. 18) in the second round.

The top seed in the main draw is the world's number one ranked player, Novak Djokovic. He will start his campaign in the tournament from the second round, facing either Roman Safiullin (Russia) or a qualifier who is yet to be determined. The second seed is the defending champion of the tournament, Daniil Medvedev (Russia), who will play against either Borna Coric (Croatia) or Jack Draper (United Kingdom).
